| How do I approach these blogs? I'm a movie fan(atic), not a critic. I look for the 'good' and fun in movies, or, at least what I consider to be 'good' about them - this even in the 'bad' ones. I do not write to make myself interesting, nor to make fun of some movies, I just write because I am deeply fond of them. I write about what appeals to me in them: mood, atmosphere, stylistics, visual and contextual elements, starlets, a sprinkle of nudity and eroticism... along with a nostalgic vibe. To be frank, I probably still watch movies like I am somewhere between 12 and 17 years old... Oh, and the order, and choice, of the reviews is by no means indicative of the ones I like most. |
